Support
Answers to the most common questions about Sets & Servings. If something here doesn't solve your problem, the contact section at the bottom explains how to reach us.
Signing in
An account is optional — the core app works fully without one. If you want cloud backup, you can sign in two ways:
- Email: enter your email address and we'll send you a one-time verification code. There is no password to remember.
- Sign in with Apple: use your Apple account directly from the sign-in screen.
Email verification codes
If your verification code doesn't arrive:
- Give it a minute or two — delivery can lag slightly.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm you typed your email address correctly, then request a new code.
- Codes expire after a short time. If a code is rejected, request a fresh one and use the most recent code.
Cloud backup
- Cloud backup is available when you're signed in, and it's optional.
- Backups are private to your account — nobody else can see them.
- Backup is a backup-and-restore mechanism, not live sync. Two devices won't stay continuously in sync; you back up from one device and can restore on another.
Restoring a backup
- Sign in with the same account you used to create the backup.
- Open the backup section in the app's settings and choose restore.
- Restoring replaces what's currently on the device with the backup's contents — make sure that's what you want before confirming.
Using the app offline or without an account
- All core tracking — meals, workouts, bodyweight, planning — works offline and without an account.
- Your data is stored locally on your iPhone.
- An internet connection is only needed for account features like signing in and cloud backup.
- Signing out does not delete the data on your device.
Deleting your account
- You can request account deletion from within the app.
- Deletion has a 14-day pending period. After it, your account and cloud backups are permanently removed from our servers.
- You can cancel a pending deletion by signing back in during those 14 days.
- Deleting your cloud account does not delete the local data on your device. To remove local data, delete it in the app or delete the app itself.
General troubleshooting
- Make sure you're on the latest version of the app from the App Store.
- Close the app fully and open it again.
- Restart your iPhone.
- For backup issues, check that your device has a working internet connection and try again.
